The Indianapolis Star has the Moms for Liberty headline of the day: “Moms for Liberty’s Hamilton County chapter quotes Hitler in first newsletter.” This isn’t some overzealous nutty volunteer. M4L carefully vets its chapter heads.
Here’s some more from the Star:
Just below The Parent Brigade’s masthead was a quote Hitler used at a Nazi rally in 1935: “He alone, who OWNS the youth, GAINS the future.” The pages of the newsletter were posted on the group’s Facebook page.
Moms for Liberty’s Start a Chapter instructions shows that potential chapter heads must pass M4L’s scrutiny before identifying with the M4L brand. For example, after some information about what the job entails, M4L says this, under “What Do I Do Next?”
The first few steps allow you to learn more about us and give us the chance to get to know a little about you. After reviewing the information we provide it is helpful to find a time to meet with the people who would likely be the initial roster of members and serve in leadership alongside you. Whether via a conference call, video chat, or in-person this meeting can give you the opportunity to explain what you have learned, gather any questions from them, and see who might be interested in leading alongside you.
The final step in the process is an interview with a member of our team who will be able to answer any questions. Once you are officially approved by the Executive Board, our team will walk you through the process of getting your Chapter up and running.
Then there is this, under What to Avoid:
Until you have received full approval by the Executive Board to start a Chapter you may not use the Moms for Liberty name or logo. Usage of either to create a social media group, profile, page or handle should wait until approval. Each Chapter receives their own logo. Use of the trademarked Moms for Liberty national logo is strictly prohibited without approval. This includes use in printed materials and on t-shirts.
One more thing. M4L is a subordinate of the Leadership Institute, a right-wing training factory for over forty years. They know exactly what they’re doing.
Ignore the PR spin. This is what Moms for Liberty is. “Moms for Liberty’s Hamilton County chapter quotes Hitler in first newsletter.”
They have spun this to say that the quote is a warning of what those evil Democrats have in mind. This is a lame excuse, especially when their white supremacist and Proud Boy connections are so apparent.

It’s lame because they kinda need some distance from the Hitler brand but they need the message. Thank you for commenting.
